RESTORATION OF THE ORGAN OF THE CHURCH SANTA MARÍA MAGDALENA

Hello everyone. This is a blog created to spread the word of the Restoration of the Historical Organ in the town of Magdalena, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The instrument was built in 1888 by the firm of E. F. Walcker. This organ is of extraordinary qualities and in original condition.

This unique historical instrument has served the community of Magdalena for 130 years without a major restauration.  Time has come to restore it and therefore “ los amigos del organo de Magdalena” are fundraising for this worthwhile  cause.

The local community has, with effort, has fundraised 30 % of the needed funds. We ask the international music community to help. No donation is too small.
